The discussion and debate were focused on the initiatives and advancement regarding intelligent cities in our country and in the world. Cases of success related to quality of life, society, mobility, environment, economy, and electronic government were known. Simultaneously, there was a debate on the policies necessary to build intelligent cities to improve citizens\u2019 life in Chile and the rest of Latin America and the Caribbean. Antonio Prado, ECLAC Deputy Executive Secretary, Pedro Pablo Err\u00e1zuriz, Chile Minister of Transport and Telecommunications, and Pelayo Covarrubias, Chairman of Fundaci\u00f3n Pa\u00eds Digital Board of Directors participated in the opening.
