ProChile launches the First Catalogue of «Chilean Women in Comics».

With the goal of empowering women's work in the international arena, ProChile, through the Subdepartment of Creative Industries, will launch the catalog of "Chilean Women in Comics", an unpublished work that compiles 56 women who represent the national comic strip nowadays.

The catalog, developed by ProChile, together with Vivian Lavín, from the VLP Agency, and a team composed of María Elena Aguayo and Francisca Cárcamo, is available in Korean, French and English, and in physical and digital formats.

For the launch of the catalog, a circuit of six international events has been prepared: Montreal Comic Arts Festival, Comic Con San Diego, Salon del Cómic at FIL Guadalajara, which will be extended with other promotional activities until 2022.

The official kick-off was at the Montreal Comic Arts Festival and MundoChile had the mission of providing online simultaneous interpreting services in English and French for the entire audience in Canada and around the world.
