LAB 4+ Pacific Alliance Forum: Innovating in Turbulent Times

The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Forum of the Pacific Alliance, LAB4+, organized by the promotion agencies of the Block (ProChile, ProColombia, the Ministry of Economy of Mexico and Promperu), was inaugurated on Monday, November 30th, and for five days gave life to one of the largest innovation summits in Latin America, in a 100% digital format, with the participation of technology companies from the AgroTech, EduTech, FinTech and HealthTech sectors of the four countries that constitute this block.

Among the new features of this new version, the participation of 20 investors and buyers from the United States and Canada was a proof of the interest generated by the innovation ecosystem of the PA.

This year 60 startups had the opportunity to meet with investors to raise capital. These companies were trained by the 4 promotion agencies, through lectures, pitch trainings and a demo day, with the aim of improving their chances of getting results.

Additionally, 80 service exporters from the countries of the block participated in a business matchmaking session, with the possibility of meeting with specific buyers from the sector.
