17th International Seminar of the FIAP: «Pension systems in the throes of a changing world «

The International Federation of Pension Fund Administrators (FIAP) and its Chilean counterpart - the Asociación de Administradoras de Fondos de Pensiones A.G. - held the 17^th International FIAP Seminar in the W Hotel in Santiago, Chile last May 15 and 16, under the banner of “Pension systems in the throes of a changing world”.

The event attracted the presence of international experts who elaborated on their experience and knowledge of different issues of interest, including government authorities and parliamentarians, officials from international agencies, representatives from administrators of pension funds, mutual funds and insurance companies as well as other personalities related to the world of finance and social security.

It was inaugurated by Guillermo Arthur, chairman of the FIAP, Andrés Santa Cruz, chairman of the Association of Pension Fund Administrators of Chile and Nicolás Monckeberg, Chilean Minister for Labor.

It was MundoChile’s honor to provide simultaneous translation services for this important gathering; rendering a high quality service throughout the whole of this international seminar.
